Every Buffalo Collective membership begins with a retreat where psychedelic medicines and experienced facilitators help you see what’s been happening below the surface.
The conditioning. The blind spots. The subconscious fears that have been making decisions without your permission.
When you’re ready to push past the limits of conventional coaching and talk therapy, a psilocybin journey supported by thoughtful integration can be life-changing.
It only takes one weekend to turn 16 Members into 2 Herds
We partner with experienced and values-aligned psilocybin facilitators to give our members the opportunity to know themselves and their experiences differently.
Before you arrive
- Preparation materials, pre-work assignments, and virtual gatherings to help you arrive ready and connected to your Herd.
- Health and mental fitness screening by experienced guides and licensed mental health professionals.
At the retreat
- All-inclusive accommodation, meals, and adult beverages.
- Morning yoga and group breakfast each day.
- Psychedelic journey guidance from an experienced, values-aligned facilitator.
- Dedicated time for preparation, journey, recovery, and reflection.
- One-on-one peer support during journey days: participants divide into two groups, one journeys while the other supports, then the groups switch. No one goes through this alone.
- Integration day: breathwork, guided reflection, and unstructured time before re-entry.
After the retreat
- Six months facilitated Herd integration with the people who were there with you. Once a week, every week, virtual meetings to see and be seen in integration.
The retreat and the Herd are one offering. You don’t do the journey without the integration. That’s not a tagline. It’s the reason this works.
My Herd is one of the few places where I don’t feel like I need to tone myself down. I can just show up as I am—and that’s incredibly rare.

2026 Buffalo Collective Retreat Details
September 9–13: Ditch the performance. Reclaim your intuition.
Purpose-driven professionalsLocation and facilitator TBA
Four outer planets retrograde. Mercury moving into Libra on the exact day of the New Moon. The sky in September is deeply interior and integrative, a near-perfect container for this work. The theme is reclaiming what years of performance and overriding your own instincts have cost you. Your body has been keeping score. This retreat is about learning to listen to it again.
November 6–10: See yourself so you can see for yourself.
Care professionalsCrestone, CO · Lead Facilitator: Darci Meyers
For those whose work is to care for others: therapists, coaches, chiropractors, acupuncturists, others who spend their days holding space for the people in their care. You’ve been hearing about psychedelics as a possible tool for your clients, but you wouldn’t recommend it without experiencing it for yourself. This retreat is for you to know it from the inside, with deep integration support, led by a highly experienced psychologist and psilocybin facilitator trainer.
This is not a credentialing event.
The Scorpio New Moon falls as Venus stations direct after her retrograde, a moment of reclaiming value after deep review. The sky supports initiation, transmission, and the rebirth of professional identity. You’ll leave knowing something you can’t unknow.
A Note about Facilitation
Buffalo Collective partners with experienced, values-aligned psychedelic facilitators for each retreat. We don’t facilitate journeys ourselves. We curate the container, hold the community, and bring in facilitators whose training, ethics, and approach we trust completely. As we formalize those partnerships, our facilitator collaborators will be introduced on the About page.
